Standard return from $220
Employees with deductions and minor investments (<5 dividends).
Complex return from $275
The higher rate will apply for the following:
- Rental properties
- Capital gains tax
- Claiming motor vehicle expenses using the logbook method in the first year of a new car
- Multiple trusts, managed funds, or exchange-traded funds (ETFs)
- Complex deductions and researching ambiguous claims
- “Shoebox” method: If you bring a pile of receipts, we’ll need to charge for sorting and organizing them. We recommend organizing them before the meeting!
Sole traders
The exact quote will depend on the complexity, as businesses can vary significantly:
- Not GST registered: Starting from $352
- GST registered: Starting from $550
Hourly rate work is charged at $200 + GST per hour.
Landlords
- One property, one owner: $275
- One property, two owners: $242 each
- Additional properties: $66 per property
Exceptions:
- Holiday home/short stay rental: $330
- First-year rental property: $330
Tax advice fees
Tax advice fees – $330 per hour
Specialist advice in relation residency issues with companies and trusts – $1,650 minimum charge.
Advice meetings go for 45 minutes, allowing 15 minutes to write up notes.
Business tax returns – company, trust
Trading company or trust – From $1,760
Trading partnership or sole trader – From $990
Contractor/PSI company – $1,320
BAS statement (per quarter) – $180

Fee from refund
The fee from the refund is available through an external provider. We charge $55 including GST to cover their fee and administrative time, with an additional $12 if there are two refunds.
Paper / posted copies
We provide an electronic service. For a printed or posted copy, an additional fee of $33 applies to cover the extra administrative time and postage.
